Oreo Peanut Butter Pretzels are crunchy peanut butter-filled pretzels coated in creamy white chocolate, then tossed in crushed Oreo cookies for an irresistible no-bake sweet-and-salty treat that tastes like puppy chow with a cookies-and-cream twist!

Oreo Peanut Butter Pretzels

If you love these Oreo Peanut Butter Pretzels, be sure to check out my other irresistible pretzel treats like Blueberry Muffin Pretzels, Nutter Butter Pretzels, Peanut Butter Buckeye Pretzels, Butter Toffee Pretzels, Peanut Butter Pretzel Clusters, and Brownie Batter Pretzel Bites—they’re packed with the same sweet-and-salty crunch that’s impossible to resist!

Why you’ll love this recipe:

Crunchy peanut butter-filled pretzels are coated in melted white chocolate, then tossed in a mixture of crushed Oreo cookies and powdered sugar for a no-bake treat that’s impossible to stop eating!

They’re like Oreos and peanut butter pretzels had a baby…then that baby took a dive into a bowl of puppy chow. Every bite has that irresistible cookies-and-cream coating with the salty crunch of a pretzel hiding underneath!

These are one of those recipes that disappear way faster than they come together. There’s no baking, no complicated steps, and only a handful of ingredients, but they taste like something you picked up from a gourmet candy shop.

The white chocolate creates the perfect sweet coating, while the crushed Oreo cookies add rich chocolate flavor and that signature cookies-and-cream crunch. The powdered sugar gives everything that classic puppy chow finish, and the peanut butter pretzels bring just enough salt to keep you reaching back into the bowl for another handful!

It’s the kind of snack that somehow gets better with every bite.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Peanut Butter Pretzels
  • White chocolate chips
  • Oreos- crushed
  • Powdered sugar

If you’re already a fan of muddy buddies or puppy chow, think of this as the fun cousin that showed up to the party!

Instead of cereal, you’re using peanut butter-filled pretzels, which means every bite has way more crunch and a creamy peanut butter center. The Oreo cookie crumbs take the place of some of the chocolate flavor you’d normally get from puppy chow, giving these treats an extra cookies-and-cream twist that makes them completely unique.

They have all the nostalgic vibes of puppy chow, but with even more texture and flavor.

One of my favorite things about these Oreo Peanut Butter Pretzels is that they aren’t trying to be pretty.

Once they’re coated in Oreo crumbs, they look like tiny little lumps of coal. It makes them especially fun around Christmas, whether you’re adding them to a cookie tray or packaging them up as a funny edible gift. They’re the kind of treat people laugh at before immediately grabbing another handful.

Ugly desserts usually end up being the most delicious ones anyway!!

How to make the best Oreo Peanut Butter Pretzels:

  • Pour your peanut butter pretzels into a large mixing bowl and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, then set aside.
  • Add the white chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the pretzels and toss to coat evenly.
  • Add the Oreo cookies into the bowl of your food processor and pulse them into fine crumbs.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Oreo cookie crumbs with powdered sugar, then pour this into the bowl of pretzels and toss again to coat.
  • Spread the coated pretzels out on the prepared baking sheet and allow the chocolate coating to harden.
  • Once cool, store in an airtight container until you’re ready to enjoy!

There’s a reason sweet and salty desserts never go out of style.

The salty pretzel keeps the white chocolate from being overly sweet, while the peanut butter filling adds a creamy richness that pairs perfectly with the chocolatey Oreo coating. Every bite has a little crunch, a little creaminess, and just enough sweetness to keep everything balanced. It’s one of those combinations that just works!

This is exactly the kind of recipe to make when you need something quick.

No preheating the oven. No waiting for cookies to bake. No decorating or frosting. Just melt the white chocolate, coat the pretzels, toss everything together, and let them set.

They’re perfect during the holidays when your oven is already working overtime, but honestly, they’re just as good for movie nights, birthday parties, game days, or those random evenings when you’re craving something sweet!

My top tips:

  • BOWL SIZE: Use the biggest bowl you can find for tossing the pretzels! A big bowl makes it so much easier to ensure the pretzels get fully coated in the chocolate peanut butter mixture as well as the cookie crumbs and powdered sugar.
  • MICROWAVING: I recommend microwaving the white chocolate in 30 second intervals, then stirring in-between. This ensures everything melts evenly and becomes perfectly smooth.
  • COAT EVENLY: Be sure you fully coat the pretzels in the chocolate. This is what the cookie crumbs and powdered sugar will stick to. I find that if you have a bowl with a lid, it can be easier to pop the lid on and shake rather than sir.
  • FOOD PROCESSOR VS ZIPLOC BAG: If you don’t have a food processor to crush the Oreo cookies, you can do it by hand! You’ll just add your cookies into a large Ziploc bag and use something heavy, like a rolling pin, to smash the cookies into crumbs.
  • COOLING: It’s important to let these Oreo Peanut Butter Pretzels cool completely before storing. If you store them while still warm, the pretzels can lose their crunchy texture. To speed up the cooling process, transfer them to the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • STORING: You can store these Oreo Peanut Butter Pretzels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
