Oreo Truffle Bark is a rich, no-bake treat with creamy Oreo truffle filling sandwiched between layers of snappy chocolate and topped with crushed Oreos!

If you love Oreos, you’ll want to try these other easy Oreo treats like Reese’s Stuffed Oreos, Oreo Truffle Cookie Bars, Oreo Peanut Butter Pretzels, Oreo Cheesecake Bites, Oreo Dip, Monster Cookie Dough Oreos, and Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches that are packed with the chocolatey cookie flavor you can’t get enough of!

Why you’ll love this recipe:
Oreo Truffle Bark is the easiest way to turn classic Oreo truffles into a quick, no-bake chocolate dessert without all the time-consuming rolling and dipping. A creamy two-ingredient Oreo truffle filling is sandwiched between layers of rich chocolate, then topped with crushed Oreos for an easy treat that looks impressive but takes very little effort.
If you love Oreo truffles but don’t love rolling dozens of individual balls, you are going to love this Oreo Truffle Bark. It has all the flavors and textures of traditional Oreo truffles in a simple bark-style dessert that you can break into pieces and share.
This is one of those easy no-bake desserts that looks like you spent much more time making it than you actually did. Instead of forming the Oreo mixture into individual balls, you simply spread it into a layer between melted chocolate.

That means no scooping, rolling, dipping, or trying to keep your hands clean while making dozens of truffles. The bark comes together much faster and is perfect when you need a simple dessert for a party, holiday cookie tray, or last-minute sweet treat.
And since there is no oven involved, it’s especially great when you don’t want to turn on the oven!

Ingredients you’ll need:
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Vegetable oil
- Oreos- divided
- Cream cheese- softened

Oreo Truffle Bark tastes like a giant chocolate-covered Oreo truffle with even more chocolate in every bite. The center is rich, creamy, and packed with that unmistakable chocolate-and-vanilla Oreo flavor, while the chocolate layers add a crisp snap that contrasts with the soft truffle filling.
The crushed Oreos on top give the bark extra chocolate cookie crunch. It’s rich without being complicated, and every bite has a combination of creamy Oreo filling, crunchy cookie pieces, and smooth chocolate.
If you’re a fan of Oreo truffles or chocolate bark, this dessert combines both into one incredibly easy treat.

The star of this recipe is the simple two-ingredient Oreo truffle filling. Traditional Oreo truffles are made by crushing Oreos and combining them with cream cheese, creating a rich, fudgy filling that tastes almost like the inside of an Oreo cheesecake.
For this bark, that same classic mixture gets spread into one easy layer rather than rolled into individual truffles.
It’s such a simple shortcut, but it makes a huge difference when you’re making dessert for a crowd. You get all the delicious Oreo truffle flavor without spending the extra time shaping every piece.
How to make the best Oreo Truffle Bark:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, then set aside.
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips with vegetable oil. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in-between, until melted and smooth.
- Pour half of the melted chocolate onto your prepared baking sheet and spread into a rectangle that’s roughly 9×13 inches in size. Transfer to the fridge or freezer to harden for about 15 minutes.
- While the chocolate sets, add 35 Oreo cookies into the bowl of your food processor and pulse them into fine crumbs.
- Pour the cookie crumbs into a medium sized mixing bowl, then add in the softened cream cheese and mix with an electric mixer to form a dough consistency.
- Press the cookie mixture on top of the chilled chocolate layer, then evenly spread the remaining melted chocolate on top.
- Immediately top with the remaining Oreo cookies,, then return to the fridge or freezer to chill for another 15-30 minutes.
- Break or cut into pieces before enjoying!

One of my favorite things about this Oreo bark recipe is how easy it is to customize. You can use different types of chocolate depending on what you like best.
Try semi-sweet or dark chocolate for a richer, less-sweet bark, or use milk chocolate for an extra creamy and sweet chocolate flavor. White chocolate is another fun option and makes the Oreo pieces really stand out!
You can also change up the toppings. Of course, crushed Oreos are a must, but you can add colorful sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, chocolate drizzle, chopped nuts, or even seasonal candy pieces.

For Christmas, add red and green sprinkles. For Valentine’s Day, use pink and red candies. You can even use different Oreo flavors to change the flavor of the bark.
Because this recipe is so simple, it’s great for just about any occasion. Make a batch for a holiday dessert table, Christmas candy tray, birthday party, cookie exchange, potluck, or movie night!
It’s also a great make-ahead no-bake dessert because the bark can be prepared ahead of time and stored until you’re ready to serve it.
And let’s be honest—anything made with Oreos and chocolate is usually going to disappear pretty quickly!

My top tips:
- LINE YOUR PAN: It’s important to line your baking sheet with parchment paper, wax paper, or a silicone baking mat to prevent any sticking. This is important because it makes breaking up the hardened bark so much easier later on.
- MELTING CHOCOLATE: Adding a little vegetable oil to the chocolate chips is my secret trick for silky smooth chocolate every time! The vegetable oil thins out the chocolate and makes it much easier to spread. You could also use coconut oil instead.
- FOOD PROCESSOR: No food processor? No problem! Using a food processor ensures even, fine crumbs, but if you don’t have one, you can put the Oreo cookies in a large resealable bag and crush with a rolling pin, mallet, or something similar. Just be sure that there aren’t any large chunks of cookies left when you’re done.
- SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE: Softened cream cheese is key in this recipe! It’s super important to make sure your cream cheese is fully softened so that it incorporates into the cookie crumbs easily without any lumps.
- ELECTRIC MIXER: I find it helpful to use an electric mixer when incorporating the cookie crumbs to ensure they’re combined thoroughly. If you don’t have one, I recommend using clean hands to work the cream cheese mixture into the cookie crumbs.
- LAYERING: If you’re having a hard time spreading the cookie filling onto the bottom layer of chilled chocolate, try wetting your hands and pressing the “dough” down with your fingertips.
- TOPPING: The top layer of melted chocolate acts as a glue for the extra cookies to stick to, so it’s important to add them before the chocolate has set.
- CHILLING: If you’re impatient like me, you’re going to want to place your bark in the freezer to speed up the chill time. I do like storing any leftovers in the fridge though so that the cookie layer stays soft, and the chocolate remains firm and snappy!
- CUTTING: For the cleanest pieces, let the finished bark chill completely before cutting it. If you prefer a more rustic look, simply break the bark into irregular pieces with your hands.
- STORING: Store Oreo Truffle Bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Keeping it chilled helps the chocolate stay firm and keeps the creamy Oreo truffle filling fresh. You can serve it straight from the refrigerator for the firmest texture, or let it sit out for a few minutes before serving if you prefer a slightly softer filling.
