This Cadbury Mini Egg Dip is a fluffy, no-bake cheesecake-inspired dessert that’s rich, creamy, and loaded with crunchy chocolate candy pieces for the perfect sweet spring treat.

cadbury mini egg dip

Love chocolate candy eggs as much as I do? You’ll also love my No Bake Birds Nest Cookies, and Birds Nest Scotcheroos!

Why you’ll love this recipe:

If you need a dessert that feels festive but takes almost no effort, this Cadbury Mini Egg Dip is exactly what you’re looking for. It’s a no-bake cheesecake dip that’s creamy, fluffy, and packed with crushed candy eggs—basically everything people love about Easter desserts in one bowl.

This is the kind of recipe you throw together in minutes, set on the table, and suddenly everyone is hovering around it with graham crackers and cookies. It’s simple, a little nostalgic, and honestly hard to stop eating.

One of the best things about this dip is that it delivers that classic cheesecake flavor without any baking, cooling, or stress. The softened cream cheese gives it that rich, slightly tangy base, while the marshmallow fluff and whipped topping make it light, airy, and just sweet enough.

Then come the crushed Cadbury Mini Eggs—and that’s what really makes this dip stand out. You get that signature candy shell crunch with creamy milk chocolate in every bite, which takes the texture to a whole different level!

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Cream cheese- softened
  • Marshmallow fluff
  • Cool Whip (thawed)
  • Pink food coloring- optional
  • Cadbury mini eggs- crushed

Think of it as a cross between no-bake cheesecake filling and a fluffy dessert mousse, but with little pops of chocolate candy throughout. It’s smooth, creamy, and melts in your mouth, with just enough crunch to keep things interesting.

This dip feels like spring in dessert form. If you add a little pink food coloring, it turns into a soft pastel treat that looks right at home on any Easter table!

It works for just about any occasion this time of year—Easter brunch, baby showers, spring parties, or even a casual weekend get-together. It’s low effort but still looks fun and seasonal, which is always a win.

How to make the best Cadbury Mini Egg Dip:

  • Add the softened cream cheese and marshmallow fluff into a large mixing bowl, then mix with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip, then optionally add in the pink food coloring, and mix again to combine.
  • Fold in 1 cup of the crushed chocolate candy eggs, then transfer the dip to your serving bowl, top with the remaining crushed candy eggs, then cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

There’s something about recipes like this that just work. Maybe it’s how quick it is to make, or how familiar the flavors are, or the fact that it uses a favorite seasonal candy.

It’s also incredibly easy to customize. You can change the color, adjust the amount of candy, or serve it with whatever you have on hand—cookies, fruit, pretzels, you name it.

But the real reason people love it? You only need a handful of ingredients to make this no-bake cheesecake dip: softened cream cheese, marshmallow fluff, whipped topping, optional pink food coloring, and crushed Cadbury Mini Eggs.

That’s it. No complicated steps, no special equipment—just mix, fold, and serve. It’s just really, really good. Creamy cheesecake flavor, fluffy texture, and chocolate crunch all in one bite!

My top tips:

  • CREAM CHEESE: Softened cream cheese is key in this recipe! It’s super important to make sure your cream cheese is fully softened so that it incorporates into the other ingredients easily and ensures your dip will be super smooth rather than lumpy.
  • ELECTRIC MIXER: I do recommend bringing out your electric mixer for this dip because it makes combining the ingredients a breeze and whips a lot of air into the ingredients making them extra light and fluffy!
  • COOL WHIP: Using frozen whipped topping adds even more ease and convenience to this already easy recipe! Rather than taking the time to whip heavy cream, just make sure your whipped topping is fully thawed before use.
  • FOOD COLORING: You can absolutely skip the food coloring in this recipe and leave the base of this dip white. A few drops of pink food coloring just adds a little springtime flare!
  • CADBURY EGGS: I find the best way to crush the chocolate eggs is by adding them to a ziploc bag and banging them with a rolling pin or meat mallet. You can also chop them into pieces with a sharp knife, but I find this a little more time consuming. Make sure to reserve some for topping!
  • DIPPING: You can use cookies, fruit, or pretzels to dip into your Cadbury Mini Egg Dip. Popular choices include graham crackers, animal crackers, vanilla wafers, and other shortbread or sugar cookies. Other great options are fresh fruit like strawberries, apple slices  and grapes, or for a salty contrast try pretzels!
  • STORING: I think this dip tastes best after chilling in the fridge for 1 hour to let the flavors meld. If you want to make this in advance, the dip can be covered and stored in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
