I am a huge fan of cinnamon rolls, I mean HUGE FAN, and these cinnamon-sugar coated pretzels are like a mashup of both churros and cinnamon rolls! Except way easier to make at home!
How to make the best cinnamon roll pretzels:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Add the pretzels to a large mixing bowl, then pour in the melted butter and toss to coat.
- Add the granulated sugar and cinnamon, then toss to coat one more time.
- Pour the pretzels onto your baking sheet and bake for 13-15 minutes.
- While the pretzels cool, microwave white chocolate and vegetable oil in 30 second increments until smooth.
- Drizzle the chocolate evenly over the pretzels, then let set completely (you can place them in the fridge to speed this up) before breaking apart and enjoying!
Cinnamon sugar pretzels with a white chocolate drizzle are perfectly sweet, crunchy, and addicting! They’re guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser. In fact, you may just want to go ahead and double the recipe now! 😉
My top tips:
- I like coating the pretzels with melted butter before adding the sugar and cinnamon to the bowl. This helps the cinnamon sugar stick to all the pretzels evenly without clumping up.
- The addition of vegetable oil in the chocolate will slightly thin out the white chocolate and make it a smoother consistency for drizzling. If you don’t have vegetable oil, canola or coconut oil will work as well.
- White chocolate can be very temperamental and burn quickly in the microwave, so I recommend microwaving in 30 second intervals and stirring in-between until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- You’ll want to let these pretzels cool before drizzling on the white chocolate. This ensures the cinnamon sugar adheres to the pretzels fully before adding any chocolate.
- You can simply drizzle the melted chocolate onto the pretzels with a spoon, or you can transfer the chocolate to a Ziploc bag and snip off one end to create a more polished drizzle look.
- It’s important to let the chocolate drizzle fully cool and harden before enjoying (or storing) these pretzels. Feel free to place them in the fridge for 10 minutes to make the chocolate set faster.

Im not sure how, but all the pretzels were burnt from over caramelization. I used pretzel thins instead, but I didn’t think that would change anything.. Will have to try again because it smelled so good I was upset it didn’t work!
