Caramel S’mores Clusters are the ultimate sweet and indulgent candy treat full of crunchy graham cracker cereal, fluffy marshmallows, gooey caramel, all coated in creamy chocolate.

I love making s’mores by a campfire, but I also love creating fun twists on the classic treat. A few favorites include S’mores Strawberries, S’mores Puppy Chow, S’mores Brownie Bites, and Frozen S’mores!

Why you’ll love this recipe:
This is copycat recipe of the popular Caramel S’mores Clusters available at Costco. They taste VERY similar, but I think my homemade version is even better! And the best part? You only need 6 ingredients to make this easy no-bake treat.
These Caramel S’mores Clusters are such an easy homemade candy with the same delicious flavors of a classic s’more and the addition of caramel of course! Crunchy graham cracker cereal, mini marshmallows, and gooey caramel all coated in smooth, creamy chocolate.
They’re a great treat to keep on hand when you need something sweet, or for sharing! They’re creamy, sweet and crunchy. A delicious homemade candy without a lot of work!

Ingredients you’ll need:
- Golden Grahams
- Mini marshmallows
- Caramel bits
- Heavy whipping cream
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Vegetable oil

I love s’mores! Something about the soft, gooey marshmallow, melty chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers all together – it’s a match made in heaven. These Caramel S’mores Clusters are such a fun twist on regular s’mores, no fire required. These candy clusters are full of Golden Grahams cereal, mini marshmallows, caramel, and chocolate all wrapped up in a handheld, bite-sized treat!
Normally I save s’mores for the summer months, but now you can enjoy the classic combo of marshmallow, graham cracker, and chocolate all year round! Perfect for when you want the flavor of a s’more, without the hassle of putting together a bonfire, and a little less messy too!
How to make the best Caramel S’mores Clusters:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat, then portion out the Golden Grahams into piles of 10-12 Golden Grahams each.
- Add 4 marshmallows onto each pile of Golden Grahams, then set aside.
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine caramel bits with heavy whipping cream. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in-between, until melted and smooth.
- Spoon 1 tbsp of the melted caramel on top of each cluster of Golden Grahams and marshmallows, then transfer to the freezer for 30 minutes to harden.
- In another microwave safe bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in-between, until melted and smooth.
- Coat the clusters in melted chocolate with a fork, tapping the fork against the side of the bowl to allow the excess chocolate to drip off, then return to the prepared baking sheet.
- Let the chocolate coating set completely before enjoying!

Homemade candy doesn’t have to be hard to make, and these Caramel S’mores Clusters come together in a matter of minutes! Graham cracker, marshmallow, caramel, and chocolate. Yum!
The caramel stays soft and chewy, and the crunch from the Golden Grahams adds the perfect variation of texture. Soft and chewy with a little crunch! Have you used the Kraft caramel bits before? They’re easy to work with and delicious! I used them in my Salted Caramel Pretzel Bark, and No Bake Samoas too!
I guarantee this homemade s’mores snack will be a summertime favorite! You can keep them in the refrigerator or freezer, so you always have a sweet treat waiting for you.

My top tips:
- LINING YOUR PAN: Don’t skip the step of lining your pan with parchment paper or a silicone mat! This is super important especially when covering the s’mores clusters in chocolate. Lining your pan prevents sticking and makes it easy to peel up the clusters once they’re set.
- CARAMEL BITS: I like using Kraft caramel bits because they’re convenient and don’t require you to unwrap individual caramels. If you can’t find caramel bits, you can use 2 cups of soft baking caramels such as Kraft classic candy caramels or Werther’s soft caramels instead.
- WORKING QUICKLY: The melted caramel begins to set quickly, so I recommend spooning it onto the Golden Grahams and mini marshmallows immediately! If you find the caramel is thickening and cooling too quickly, feel free to return it to the microwave for 30 seconds or so to warm it back up.
- FREEZING: You’ll want to chill these s’mores clusters before coating them in chocolate. This gives the caramel a chance to firm back up and ensures the clusters will hold their shape when being tossed around in the bowl of chocolate.
- MELTING CHOCOLATE: I recommend microwaving the chocolate in 30 second intervals to prevent any burning. I also like adding vegetable oil to the chocolate to thin it out a little and make it a better consistency for coating. You could use coconut oil for a similar result.
- COATING: After you coat each cluster, tap it against the bowl so the excess chocolate drips off. You’ll also want to scrape all the excess chocolate off the bottom so that it won’t create a pool or “foot” of chocolate once placed on the baking sheet.
- COOLING: If you’re impatient like me, you’re going to want to transfer your Caramel S’mores Clusters into the fridge or freezer for 30 minutes to make the chocolate set up faster. You can let these set at room temperature, but it will take a few hours for the chocolate to fully set up.
- LEFTOVERS: Once the chocolate has completely set, I like storing any leftovers in an airtight container or Ziploc bag at room temperature for up to 1 week. You can also store these in the refrigerator but will need to let come to room temperature to soften the caramels before enjoying.
