Caramel apple toffee dip is full of crunchy toffee bits, creamy cream cheese and sweet caramel dip! Enjoy with sliced apples and I guarantee you won’t be able to stop eating this stuff!

Why you’ll love this recipe:

While I love caramel apples, they can be complicated (and messy) to make at home. I’ve been on a kick with cream cheese fruit dips and this version of caramel apple dip does not disappoint! In fact, it’s nearly impossible to stay out of! This dip is the perfect 10-minute party appetizer or dessert that is so easy to make, you could do it blindfolded.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Cream cheese
  • Caramel dip
  • Brown sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla extract
  • Toffee bits or Heath bits

Gooey caramel and crunchy toffee bits, what’s not to love? Once you try this caramel apple toffee dip, you’ll never want to buy store-bought apple dip again! It’s a hit at any party, potluck gathering or celebration and if you’re smart, you’ll make extra to enjoy all by yourself!!!

How to make the best caramel apple toffee dip:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, 3/4 cup caramel dip, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Fold in your toffee bits, then transfer the dip to your serving bowl. Top with a drizzle of caramel dip and remaining toffee bits before serving.

Feel free to make substitutions:

  • Instead of toffee bits, you can use any crushed-up candy bar you like! Butterfingers, KitKats, and Snickers would be some of my top recommendations.
  • Try out other dippers like graham crackers, cookies, vanilla wafers, pretzels, or other fruits such as strawberries, grapes, and pineapple!

My top tips:

  • Make sure your cream cheese is softened before you make this recipe. If it’s cold and too firm, you’ll end up with little chunks of cream cheese in the dip rather than the fluffy texture we’re going for! If you don’t have the patience to soften cream cheese, store-bought whipped cream cheese in the tub is the way to go!
  • There are two options when shopping for your toffee bits: bits o’ brickle or just Heath toffee bits covered in chocolate. Bits o’ brickle are plain toffee bits (without the chocolate coating) and can be a little harder to find, so luckily both options work perfectly here. I find my toffee bits next to the chocolate chips at my grocery store.
  • Having an electric mixer on hand does make this recipe easier but it’s not necessary. If you don’t have an electric mixer, just make sure you’re heady to get your arm workout in! Whipping this dip is important to get that light and creamy texture we all love so much!
  • I recommend using a caramel dip rather than a caramel sauce for this recipe. Caramel dip is thicker and more flavorful (in my opinion). Marzetti and lighthouse both have great caramel dips.
  • Make this ahead of time and pop it in the fridge for up to 3 days before serving. I like letting this dip sit out at room temperature for a bit to let the cream cheese soften a little to make it easier to dip!
  • To keep cut apples from turning brown after slicing them, soak them in salt water or lemon water for 10 minutes. Drain off the water, give them a rinse, and I promise this won’t affect their flavor!

If dessert dips are as popular in your house as they are in mine, try these out!

  • Strawberry Pretzel Salad Dip
  • Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake Dip
  • Butterfinger Dip
  • Banana Pudding Dip
  • Monster Cookie Dough Dip
  • Brownie Batter Dip
