S’mores snack mix is a fun, easy, and delicious treat for any occasion. Ditch the camping and bring the nostalgic flavors of a campfire classic indoors!

Why you’ll love this recipe:

Normally I save s’mores for the summer months, but now you can enjoy the classic combo of marshmallow, graham cracker, and chocolate all year round! Perfect for when you want the flavor of a s’more, without the hassle of putting together a bonfire!

S’mores cereal, mini marshmallows, and white chocolate chips get mixed together, then drizzled with both white and semi-sweet chocolate. Ready in less than 20 minutes and a great recipe for entertaining!

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Honey Maid s’mores cereal- a mix of Golden Grahams and Cocoa Puffs work too!
  • Mini marshmallows
  • White chocolate chips
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Vegetable oil

When I stumbled upon the Honey Maid s’mores cereal at my local grocery store, I knew I had been missing out! If you’re able to find it, this cereal makes this recipe super quick and easy to throw together.

If you can’t find Honey Maid s’mores cereal, no problem! You can use a mix of Golden Grahams cereal and Cocoa Puffs as a substitute. Just two cups of each will do the trick. You could even throw some marshmallow bits in make it exactly like the Honey Maid version.

How to make the best s’mores snack mix

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cereal, mini marshmallows and ½ cup white chocolate chips. Toss to combine, then transfer to a lined baking sheet.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, add remaining white chocolate chips and 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Microwave for in 30 second intervals, stirring in-between until smooth. Repeat with the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Transfer the melted white chocolate to a Ziploc bag, snip off one end and drizzle it over the cereal mixture. Repeat with the melted semi-sweet chocolate.
  • Transfer the pan to the fridge or freezer to let the chocolate harden, then break into pieces before enjoying.

I love a good snack mix, especially when it’s a dessert snack mix. You know me and my sweet tooth! 😉 To make it even better, this treat is no bake, simple to make, and only requires 5 ingredients! You’ve gotta try it!

My top tips:

  • If you can’t find Honey Maid s’mores cereal, no problem! You can use a mix of Golden Grahams cereal and Cocoa Puffs as a substitute. Just two cups of each will do the trick.
  • I recommend adding vegetable oil to your chocolate before microwaving. This makes the melted chocolate extra smooth and pourable. 1 tbsp is all you need!
  • It’s important to microwave the chocolate in 30 second intervals to avoid burning. Once chocolate burns, it tends to clump up and there’s no coming back from that!
  • Make sure the cereal is in an even layer on the baking sheet before drizzling on the chocolate. You’ll want the chocolate to touch as much of the cereal as possible because that’s what will give you yummy clumps of snack mix!
  • I find it helpful to transfer the melted chocolate to Ziploc bags before cutting off one end and drizzling. This makes the chocolate drizzle more evenly and keeps things mess free.
  • You’ll want to let the chocolate harden completely before breaking this snack mix into pieces. The chocolate is what holds everything together, so it’s important that it sets up first.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container or Ziploc bag in a cool area for up to 4 days.
