Why you’ll love this recipe:
Churro Cheesecake Pretzel Bites are the perfect mashup of two classic desserts: rich, creamy cheesecake and sweet, cinnamon-sugar churros. While churros are traditionally fried, dipped in melted butter, and rolled in cinnamon sugar, this recipe takes a creative twist by using soft pretzel bites as the vessel for filling with creamy, no bake cheesecake and coating generously with cinnamon sugar!
What’s better than a churro? Churro flavored cheesecake! This incredible treat is made with only 7 ingredients, and it comes together in minutes. It’s flavored with lots of cinnamon sugar, buttery soft pretzels, and a sweet and tangy cream cheese filling.

Ingredients you’ll need:
- Soft pretzel bites- I used King’s Hawaiian
- Butter- melted
- Granulated sugar
- Cinnamon Cream cheese- softened
- Powdered sugar
- Vanilla extract

Churros are a traditional Mexican dessert, made with pastry dough that is quickly deep-fried and then tossed with cinnamon sugar. They’re a very popular street food throughout Mexico. This recipe swaps the traditional choux pastry dough for store-bought soft pretzel bites but keeps that classic cinnamon sugar flavor without the need for deep frying!
There’s something about cinnamon sugar that’s so warm and comforting to me! It has to be one of my favorite flavor combos, and when you combine it with bite-sized soft pretzels, it’s the perfect sweet and salty pairing. The combination of doughy, cinnamon-sugar coated pretzels with creamy cheesecake filling creates this incredible contrast of textures that nobody can resist. They disappear faster than I can set down the serving tray!
These bites are a fun twist on the classic churro and make a delightful treat for parties, family gatherings, or anytime you’re craving something indulgent. Whether you’re making them for a party or just a fun snack, these little bites are sure to be a hit. Serve them warm for the ultimate indulgence!

Whether you’re looking to wow a crowd or just want to indulge yourself, these Churro Cheesecake Pretzel Bites prove that you don’t need complicated techniques to create a truly memorable treat. They’re simple, satisfying, and perfect for anyone who wants to add a little sweetness in their day!

My top tips:
- FILLING THE PRETZELS: I like punching a hole in the side of each pretzel bite, then filling them through that same hole. If you would rather fill the pretzels from the top or bottom, feel free to change the placement of the holes.
- COATING: It’s important that you cover each pretzel bite completely in melted butter before sprinkling with cinnamon sugar. The melted butter is what makes the cinnamon sugar stick to the pretzel bites.
- SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE: Using softened cream cheese is key in this cheesecake filling! It’s super important to make sure your cream cheese is fully softened so that it incorporates into the other ingredients easily and ensures your filling will be super smooth rather than lumpy.
- ELECTRIC MIXER: I do recommend bringing out your electric mixer for the cheesecake filling because it makes combining the ingredients a breeze and whips a lot of air into the filling making it extra light and fluffy!
- PIPING BAG: Adding the cheesecake filling into a Ziploc bag or piping bag helps control how much filling you’re piping into to the pretzel bites and in turn, keeps them nice and neat.
- STORING: Churro Cheesecake Pretzel Bites are best enjoyed day of. You can make the cheesecake filling a day ahead and keep it in the refrigerator, then coat, fill, and bake the pretzels when ready to enjoy.
- RE-HEATING: These are best enjoyed warm, so if you need to reheat your pretzel bites, I recommend placing them back in the oven for 3-5 minutes until warmed through. You can also reheat in the microwave or air fryer as needed.
