These easy Banana Pudding Bites are absolutely perfect for the banana pudding lovers like me! If you like these, you’ll love my Banana Pudding Hawaiian Rolls and Banana Pudding Dip too!

Why you’ll love this recipe:

Both creamy and crunchy, this recipe combines the best of both worlds! Rich banana pudding is scooped onto crunchy Nilla Wafer cookies, topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with even more crushed Nilla Wafers. Because they are smaller, these make the perfect handheld dessert for a crowd. This is a super simple recipe and is guaranteed to be a new family favorite!

Banana Pudding Bites are full of creamy pudding, chopped bananas, whipped cream, and sweet vanilla wafer cookies. They have all the flavors of traditional banana pudding, just easier to make because there is no layering or chill time required.

This recipe turns an instant pudding into a special occasion worthy treat! These bites are made with just 6 ingredients and are everything you love about the classic dessert except in a finger-food form!

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Instant banana cream pudding mix
  • Heavy whipping cream
  • Milk
  • Frozen whipped topping- thawed (AKA Cool Whip)
  • Banana- chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • Nilla Wafers

Banana Pudding Bites are a handheld version of the classic layered Banana Pudding dessert we all know and love. If you’ve ever found yourself craving the flavors of banana pudding, but felt overwhelmed by making the whole full-sized dessert, mini Banana Pudding Bites are your answer!

These sweet little bites are a semi-homemade recipe and the perfect balance of convenience and decadence! Using instant banana cream pudding and store-bought vanilla wafer cookies simplifies your life and makes this recipe super quick and easy to throw together.

You cannot go wrong with making these fun, bite-sized treats. They’re perfectly portioned and great for dinner parties, potlucks, or backyard cookouts! The comfort of banana pudding meets the ease of no bake cookie bites.

How to make the best Banana Pudding Bites:

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine instant banana cream pudding mix with heavy whipping cream and milk. Whisk to dissolve any lumps, then set aside for 5 minutes to thicken.
  • Fold in 1 cup of thawed whipped topping, then fold in the chopped banana and 1 cup of crushed Nilla Wafers.
  • Lay the Nilla Wafers (flat side facing up) on a baking sheet or serving platter, then scoop 1 tsp of the banana pudding mixture onto each Nilla Wafer.
  • Transfer the remaining whipped topping into a Ziploc bag, cut off one end, then squeeze a dollop on top of each banana pudding bite. Sprinkle with more crushed Nilla Wafers and enjoy!

Everyone loves a good Banana Pudding, so why not turn it into a finger food? These Banana Pudding Bites are the perfect balance of sweet, easy, and delicious. They make the perfect banana dessert for entertaining and are completely no bake!

Banana pudding is served everywhere from holidays to potlucks, you’ll almost always see some version of banana pudding on the dessert table. I took that classic dessert idea and gave it a twist by turning it into single-serve treats. These are perfect for a fun weeknight dessert or anytime you want a creamy sweet treat. The best part is that they’re just as easy, if not easier, to make than classic banana pudding!

If you’re a fan of classic banana pudding, you MUST give these Banana Pudding Bites a try! The combination of fresh bananas, vanilla wafers, and fluffy pudding is just SO good!

My top tips:

  • INSTANT PUDDING: Make sure the banana pudding mix you’re using is instant! The instant pudding will thicken without having to cook it on the stove and that’s exactly what we want. Once the instant pudding is combined with milk, it’ll only take about 5 minutes to thicken on its own.
  • BANANAS: I recommend using just ripe bananas that are bright yellow with no brown spots. If they’re overly ripe, they’ll be too mushy for this recipe.
  • WHIPPED TOPPING: Using frozen whipped topping adds even more ease and convenience to this already easy recipe! Rather than taking the time to whip heavy cream, just make sure you’re whipped topping is fully thawed before use.
  • SCOOPING: I find it helpful to use a 1 tsp sized triggered cookie scoop to portion out the banana pudding mixture onto the Nilla Wafer cookies. This just helps keep thinks even and mess free!
  • STORING: Leftover Banana Pudding Bites need to be stored in the fridge because the pudding mixture is perishable. They’ll keep for up to 3 days stored in an airtight container, just keep in mind that the longer you store them, the more the vanilla wafer cookies will soften and begin to lose that crunchy texture.  If you prefer crunchy, I recommend enjoying these within 1 day.
