If you like these Garlic Bread Ritz Bits, you’ll also like my Cheesy Ranch Ritz Bits! They’re a little spicy, a little zesty, very cheesy, and a whole lot of yum!

Why you’ll love this recipe:

These savory little bites combine the irresistible taste of garlic bread with the convenience of Ritz Bits crackers, making them an instant favorite for anyone who loves buttery, cheesy, and garlicky flavors. Whether you’re looking for a quick party snack, a fun addition to a charcuterie board, or a way to upgrade your usual crackers, this recipe will quickly become a new go-to!

My family adores these crackers! They’re a holiday favorite. Ritz crackers are good on their own, but they’re out of this world delicious with a few additions! Plus, they’re incredibly easy to make. With only six ingredients and a short bake time, you can whip up a big batch in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Cheese Ritz Bits
  • Butter- melted
  • Parmesan cheese- grated
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Italian seasoning

This addicting snack is simple to make and dangerously delicious. Cheese sandwich Ritz Bits are pretty darn tasty on their own, but when you bake them up with garlic, parmesan, and plenty of butter they are out of this world good. Whether you’re making them for a get-together or just a personal snack, they’re sure to be a crowd-pleaser!

Seasoned and parmesan coated cheesy Ritz Bits are the perfect way to upgrade your favorite cheese stuffed sandwich crackers. They’re great for setting out at parties, bringing on road trips, or topping your hearty soups and chilis. Packed with buttery, garlicy, cheesy flavor, I guarantee you won’t be able to keep your hands out of the bowl!

How to make the best Garlic Bread Ritz Bits:

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Pour crackers into a large mixing bowl, then add in the melted butter, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Mix to coat the crackers evenly, then transfer the crackers onto your prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  • Allow crackers to cool before storing in an airtight container or Ziploc bag.

The combination of buttery goodness, garlic, and a hint of cheesy crunch makes this a must-try recipe. What makes these crackers extra special is the way they deliver a rich, garlicky punch without the need for complicated ingredients or hours in the kitchen. It’s perfect for those moments when you crave something warm and comforting yet need to keep it simple.

When I say this recipe is easy to make, I mean it. It’s as simple as mixing, baking, and cooling. Once your crackers are nice and toasty, remove them from the oven and give them a few minutes to cool off. Once they’re safe to handle, you’re good to dig in! If you’re making them ahead of time then you’ll want to make sure they’re fully cooled, then store them in an airtight container or bag until it’s snack time. Give this easy recipe a try for your next party and it’s sure to be the hit of the night!

My top tips:

  • CRACKER VARIETIES: Ritz Bits are delicious here because of their buttery flavor, just be sure you’re grabbing the cheese flavor and not peanut butter! If you’re in a pinch and don’t have Ritz Bits on hand, you can make this recipe with Original Ritz or Cheez-It crackers too.
  • MIX EVENLY: These crackers taste best when evenly coated in the cheese and seasonings. I recommend using a large mixing bowl that has plenty of extra room for stirring. You can also add everything to a Ziploc bag and shake to coat in the butter and seasonings.
  • BAKING: It’s important to stir the crackers halfway through baking to ensure the butter and seasonings are evenly soaking into the crackers and all sides of the crackers are getting golden brown.
  • COOLING: Let the crackers cool completely on your baking sheet before transferring them into a container. This will prevent the crackers from becoming soft and soggy.
  • STORING: Once cooled, transfer the crackers into an airtight container or ziploc bag and they’ll stay fresh for 2-3 weeks stored at room temperature.
  • DOUBLE THE RECIPE: You can easily double or triple this recipe to feed a crowd. These crackers are perfect to serve or gift around the holidays and always disappear quickly!
