I think that Rice Krispies kind get all the love when it comes to fun ways to use cereal! I decided to use a mix of Froot Loops and Fruity Pebbles to make these cute little treats, and I just love how colorful they are. Bonus: they are incredibly easy to make!
How to make the best Tutti Frutti Clusters:
- Add the Froot Loops, Fruity Pebbles, and mini marshmallows into a large mixing bowl, then stir to combine and set aside.
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips with vegetable oil. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in-between, until melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate into your bowl of cereal, then mix to coat everything evenly in chocolate.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, then scoop the mixture into clusters.
- Let the chocolate coating set completely before enjoying!

Tutti Frutti Clusters are crispy and colorful, making them perfect for a celebration! You’ll love the fruity flavors, and you’ll especially love the rich and creamy white chocolate coating, which make these cereal treats delightfully fudgy.
You can enjoy these delicious treats as an easy snack, dessert, pack them in lunch boxes, or whip them up for parties. Kids will especially love the rainbow of colors, the crispy texture and fruity taste. Make these for both St. Patrick’s Day and Easter and they will be gone in an instant!
The colors, the smooth chocolate coating and the mixing in of mini marshmallows really make these something special. If you want something easy but just a bit different, then you have to make this Tutti Frutti Clusters recipe!

My top tips:
- LINING YOUR PAN: Don’t skip the step of lining your pan with parchment paper or a silicone mat! This is super important especially when scooping the cereal mixture into clusters. Lining your pan prevents sticking and makes it easy to peel up the “cookies” once they’re chilled.
- MELTING CHOCOLATE: I recommend microwaving the chocolate in 30 second intervals to prevent any burning. White chocolate can be especially temperamental and prone to clumping, so it’s important to melt it down slowly.
- VEGETABLE OIL: Adding a little vegetable oil to the chocolate chips is my secret trick for silky smooth chocolate every time! The vegetable oil thins out the chocolate and makes it much easier to coat the cereal and marshmallows.
- SCOOPING: Once the white chocolate is fully melted, you’ll need to move quickly to coat and scoop the cereal mixture into clusters before it begins to cool and set up. I like using a rubber spatula to mix, and a triggered cookie scoop to scoop and portion, as this avoids crushing the cereal too much.
- COOLING: If you’re impatient like me, you’re going to want to transfer your Tutti Frutti Clusters into the fridge or freezer for 15 minutes to make the chocolate set up faster. You can let these set at room temperature, but it will take a few hours.
- STORING: Tutti Frutti Clusters are best enjoyed within 2-3 days for optimal freshness, but you can transfer any leftovers into an airtight container or Ziploc bag and store at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Can these be bagged individually in baggies or are they too sticky?
Hi Martha! These can absolutely be bagged individually. Just make sure the chocolate coating is completely set before doing so.
