Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

The only thing better than a chocolate chip cookie is one thats been stuffed with an Oreo! All you need is a glass of milk and you’re set!

Why you’ll love these cookies:

There’s nothing better than homemade cookies, especially when they can be made in 30 minutes and don’t require any chilling!

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Butter, softened
  • Brown sugar
  • Granulated sugar
  • Egg
  • Vanilla extract
  • All-purpose flour
  • Cornstarch
  • Baking soda
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Double stuffed Oreos

Other than how easy these are to make, one of my favorite things about these cookies are how thick they are! I like comparing them to Levain style cookies where the edges are crisp while the interior is doughy. If you like big cookies, these are for you!

How to make easy Oreo stuffed cookies:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg and vanilla extract together.
  • Sprinkle the flour, cornstarch and baking soda over the wet ingredient mixture. Stir to form a dough.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, then using a large cookie scoop (¼ cup cookie dough), scoop out the cookie dough, flatten it between the palm of your hand and place the Oreo in the center. Add a little more cookie dough on top of the Oreo and pinch the edges together to seal.
  • Place the cookies on your prepared baking sheets and bake for 15-18 minutes. Let cool on the cookie sheets until firm enough to handle.

My top tips!

  • One of my favorite things about these cookies is that they’re super thick! To ensure they keep their height and don’t spread too much in the oven, you’ll want to be sure your butter isn’t too soft. You’ll want to use softened butter so that it can cream into the other wet ingredients but be sure it’s NOT melted!
  • I recommend using double stuffed Oreos for stuffing these cookies to get more of a ‘wow factor’ when bitting into them! If regular Oreos are all you can get your hands on, that’ll still work. T
  • he bake time for these cookies will completely depend on how chewy you want them to be! If you like doughy cookies, I’d start checking on them after 10-12 minutes in the oven. I prefer taking them out around the 15-18 minute mark with lightly golden edges for a crisp bottom and chewy interior.
