Calling all peanut butter lovers! When it comes to Christmas cookies, these no bake peanut butter blossoms are the first to be made in my house every single year. Everybody loves these Hershey’s kiss cookies, and they always make it onto my holiday cookie trays.
These no bake peanut butter kiss cookies only call for 6 ingredients and are ready in about 30 minutes or less. Made with creamy peanut butter, and Rice Krispies, then pressed with a chocolate kiss. Once set, these cookies turn out perfectly chewy every time! They’re like a cross between scotcheroos and rice krispie treats!
How to make the best peanut butter blossom cookies:
- Pour your Rice Krispies cereal into a large mixing bowl, then set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine light corn syrup and brown sugar. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil, then remove from the heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract.
- Quickly pour the peanut butter mixture into the bowl of cereal, mixing to coat the cereal evenly.
- Roll the mixture into balls roughly 2 inches in size, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat as you go.
- Press a Hershey’s kiss into the center of each peanut butter krispie ball, then let cool completely before enjoying!
Nothing beats the combination of silky chocolate and sweet-salty peanut butter! And the best part? This peanut butter blossom recipe is practically foolproof.
Even better, there’s no baking necessary; simply cook the sugar, syrup, and peanut butter on the stove, mix in the Rice Krispies, form them into balls, press a kiss on top, and let them set.
My top tips:
- PEANUT BUTTER MIXTURE: Bringing the corn syrup and brown sugar to a boil before adding the peanut butter and vanilla extract is what gives these cookies their delightful chewy texture! It should only take 3-5 minutes to come to a boil over medium heat.
- WORKING QUICKLY: You’ll want to avoiding letting the peanut butter mixture sit for too long before adding it to the cereal, as it begins to cool and set quickly. Immediately pouring it into the Rice Krispies cereal will make it much easier to coat the cereal evenly.
- ROLLING: No need to squeeze the mixture together when forming into balls, just lightly roll in-between your hands until you get the correct shape. This keeps the cookies chewy and prevents them from becoming hard.
- HERSHEY’S KISSES: I recommend unwrapping the kisses ahead of time, so that you can press them into the cookies before they cool and set up. If you don’t want to use kisses, mini peanut butter cups or Rolos would work as well!
- STORING: Transfer any leftover cookies to an airtight container and keep at room temperature for 3-4 days.

Wanda Chappell says
can I substitute golden corn syrup instead of light corn syrup?
Sophie says
Hi Wanda, golden corn syrup will slightly deepen the color of these cookies and alter the taste by giving them a hint of molasses flavor, but that should be the only difference! I say go for it! 馃檪
