Caramel S’mores Nachos are a gooey, shareable indoor dessert made with graham crackers layered with buttery caramel, melted chocolate, and toasted mini marshmallows, all broiled to golden perfection.

Caramel S'mores Nachos

Love the combination of caramel and s’mores? You’ll have to try my Caramel S’mores Clusters next!

Why you’ll love this recipe:

If you love s’mores but don’t love building a campfire, these Caramel S’mores Nachos are exactly what you need. They have everything you crave — melted chocolate, gooey marshmallows, buttery caramel, and crunchy graham crackers — but they’re made completely indoors. No fire pit. No smoky clothes. No sticks required!

This easy dessert recipe is layered “nacho-style” on a baking sheet, then quickly broiled until perfectly toasted and melty. It’s fast, fun, and almost impossible to stop eating.

Plus, this recipe uses just a handful of ingredients — including convenient store-bought caramel bits — and comes together in under 10 minutes. Whether you’re hosting a party, planning a movie night, or need a quick sweet treat, these s’mores nachos deliver big flavor with minimal effort.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Graham crackers
  • Caramel bits
  • Heavy whipping cream
  • Milk chocolate chips- divided
  • Vegetable oil
  • Mini marshmallows

Traditional s’mores are great, but adding caramel takes them to another level! The caramel melts into the chocolate, creating a rich, buttery layer that makes each bite extra decadent. When the mini marshmallows toast under the broiler, they get that golden, slightly crisp top with a soft and fluffy center — just like around a campfire, only easier.

And the best part? You can make these in your kitchen anytime. Rainy day? Movie night? Late-night sweet tooth? No problem. These oven s’mores nachos give you that nostalgic flavor without ever stepping outside.

One of the reasons Caramel S’mores Nachos are so popular is how simple they are. You only need a handful of ingredients, and one of them is store-bought caramel bits for convenience. No unwrapping sticky caramels. No complicated steps. Just melt, drizzle, and broil!

How to make the best Caramel S’mores Nachos:

  • Turn your oven to broil and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Break each graham cracker sheet in half, then in half again, then transfer the graham crackers onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, combine the caramel bits and heavy whipping cream. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  • In another microwave safe bowl, combine 1 cup of chocolate chips with vegetable oil. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  • Transfer the melted caramel into a ziploc bag, cut off one end, and even drizzle it over the graham crackers, then repeat this same process with the melted chocolate.
  • Sprinkle the mini marshmallows and remaining chocolate chips on top, then place under the broiler for 30 seconds or until the marshmallows are lightly toasted (watch this closely to prevent burning).
  • Enjoy immediately!

Imagine the flavor of a classic s’more — warm chocolate and toasted marshmallow — but richer and more indulgent. Every bite is a mix of crunchy, gooey, melty, and toasted. It’s sweet without being overwhelming, especially if you use semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips to balance the caramel.

Because they’re made on a baking sheet, these Caramel S’mores Nachos are designed for sharing. Just set the tray in the middle of the table and let everyone dig in. They’re perfect for parties, family gatherings, sleepovers, game nights, or casual get-togethers.

People naturally gather around them. It’s interactive, fun, and feels a little nostalgic — like everyone’s at a campfire together, even though you’re comfortably indoors.

Caramel S’mores Nachos are the kind of treat that disappears fast. They’re warm, gooey, chocolatey, and loaded with that irresistible toasted marshmallow flavor — all made right in your oven!

My top tips:

  • CARAMEL BITS: I like using Kraft caramel bits because they’re convenient and don’t require you to unwrap individual caramels. If you can’t find caramel bits, you can use 2 cups of soft baking caramels such as Kraft classic candy caramels or Werther’s soft caramels instead.
  • CHOCOLATE CHIPS: Use your favorite chocolate chips here. I went for milk chocolate because that is a classic s’mores flavor to me, but semi-sweet or dark chocolate would work great too!
  • VEGETABLE OIL: Adding a little vegetable oil to the chocolate chips is my secret trick for silky smooth melted chocolate every time! The vegetable oil thins out the chocolate and makes it much easier to evenly drizzle over the graham crackers.
  • DRIZZLING: I find it helpful to transfer the melted caramel and melted chocolate into Ziploc bags before cutting off one end and drizzling. This makes them drizzle more evenly and keeps things mess free.
  • WATCH THE MARSHMALLOWS: Broiling the tops of the marshmallows is optional but recommended! If you choose to broil them, do not walk away from the oven. You’ll need to watch them VERY closely because they can go from perfectly golden to very burnt in 2 seconds flat! Feel free to skip the broiling and leave the marshmallows as is or use dried marshmallow bits if you want something less chewy.
  • STORING: I think these Caramel S’mores Nachos are best enjoyed right out of the oven because they are perfectly warm and gooey. Leftover s’mores nachos are best enjoyed within 24 hours, as the graham crackers tend to soften over time. Just cover and store at room temperature.
