If you love the taste of cookie dough, these cookie dough stuffed Oreos are for you! With peanut butter, M&M’s, chocolate chips and oats, these no-bake Monster Cookie Dough Oreos always hit the spot!
Monster cookie dough is a spin on the popular monster cookie – a peanut butter oatmeal cookie loaded with chocolate chips and M&Ms. This version involves heat-treating the flour and oats so that any bacteria is killed and then you combine it with all of your other favorite cookie dough ingredients and mix-ins so that you have a cookie dough that’s completely safe to eat!

Ingredients you’ll need:
- Oreos
- All-purpose flour- heat treated
- Rolled oats- heat treated
- Butter- softened
- Creamy peanut butter
- Brown sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Milk
- MIni M&M’s
- Mini chocolate chips

These cookie dough stuffed Oreos have to be one of the best treats ever made! Two of my favorite things in one delicious dessert. What could be better than cookie dough and Oreos together?!
If you’ve never heard of a monster cookie before, it’s a cookie that throws caution to the wind and adds a little bit of everything—peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips, and M&Ms, all in one delicious cookie. This edible version captures all those signature flavors, but in dough form. It’s quick to make, perfectly safe to eat raw, and satisfies that cookie dough craving in just minutes.
Normal cookie dough is not fully safe to eat, as both raw eggs and untreated flour are known to carry harmful bacteria. However, edible cookie dough does not require eggs and calls for heat-treated dry ingredients which makes it safe to eat!
I’ll be honest, I love cookie dough. It’s hard not to grab a little bit when I am baking a batch of cookies so sometimes, I just make a batch of this edible cookie dough instead so I can enjoy that treat guilt free. It’s made with no eggs and as long as you bake the flour (and in this case, oats), it is perfectly safe to eat with no worries!
How to make the best Monster Cookie Dough Oreos:
- In microwave safe bowls, microwave your flour and oats for 60-90 seconds each, stirring halfway through. Set aside to cool completely.
- Carefully separate the Oreo cookie halves, then place half of the Oreo cookies, cream side up, onto a baking sheet.
- Combine the softened butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract, then add in the milk and sprinkle in the heat-treated flour and oats.
- Mix to form a dough, then fold in the mini M&Ms and mini chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into 1 tbsp balls and top each Oreo half with a dough ball.
- Sandwich the cookie dough balls with another Oreo half, pressing down gently to avoid breaking the Oreos!

I make my Monster Cookie Dough Oreos with simple ingredients like oats, brown sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla. The dough itself is pretty basic and easy to put together, but the mix-ins are where these monster Oreo cookies really shine. The crunchy Oreo cookies really add something extra!
When I go to Dairy Queen to get a blizzard, or somewhere else to get a shake, one of my favorite flavors to order is Oreo and cookie dough! It’s such an amazing combo, so I just knew that stuffing Oreo cookies full of homemade edible cookie dough would be a good idea! And I was right!
Who admits to sneaking a little cookie dough to eat when you’re making cookies? This stuffed cookie is PERFECT because you don’t have to sneak the cookie dough out of the bowl. You eat it in the dessert! It’s genius.

My top tips:
- HEAT TREATING FLOUR AND OATS: Heat treating the raw flour and oats is an important step to ensuring this cookie dough is completely safe to eat. You’ll add the flour and oats into microwave safe bowls and microwave them for 60-90 seconds to get rid of any unwanted bacteria, then you’re good to go! You can also bake the flour and oats at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.
- ELECTRIC MIXER: I do recommend bringing out your electric mixer for this cookie dough because it makes combining the ingredients a breeze and whips a lot of air into the dough making it extra fluffy and delicious!
- MIX-INS: While mini chocolate chips and mini M&Ms are ideal because they distribute more evenly throughout the dough, you can use full-size if that’s what you have on hand—it’ll just be a bit chunkier.
- ROLLING: If you’re having a hard time rolling the dough into balls because it’s not holding shape, add a little more milk (1 tbsp at a time) to soften the cookie dough.
- SANDWICHING: When sandwiching the cookie dough with another Oreo cookie half, you just want to press down lightly so that the dough flattens out a little to fill both cookies. Try to avoid pressing too hard because the Oreos are brittle and prone to breaking.
- STORING: Transfer any leftover Monster Cookie Dough Oreos into an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 5 days. These can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
