Line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 2 cups mini marshmallows and ¼ cup butter (4 tbsp). Stir over medium heat until melted and smooth, then fold in 2 cups of the rice krispies.
Transfer the mixture into your prepared 9x9 pan and flatten it out to form a “crust” on the bottom of the pan. Set aside to cool.
In another saucepan over medium heat, combine 3 cups mini marshmallows and ⅓ cup butter (about 5 tbsp). Stir over medium heat until melted and smooth.
Once it’s melted, add in a few drops of orange food coloring and the pumpkin pie spice and mix to combine. Then fold in 4 cups of rice krispies.
Evenly flatten the pumpkin spice krispie mixture on top of the rice krispie “crust” and let cool completely.
To serve, cut into 16 squares, then top each square with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice!
