Why you’ll love this recipe:

This unbelievably easy, 5-minute microwave Triple Chocolate Fudge is melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Rich, creamy, chocolatey fudge squares without the hassle of making temperamental, old-fashioned stovetop fudge.

My easy fudge recipe tastes similar to the old-fashioned kind, but you don’t need a candy thermometer to make it! I melt sweetened condensed milk, milk chocolate chips, and vanilla together, then mix in some triple chocolate candy bits. It only takes a few minutes in the microwave to make this creamy candy, and the rest of the magic happens in the fridge.

This is not an old-fashioned style fudge (which takes time and patience), this style, using condensed milk, is much easier but still so rich in flavor with an irresistible fudgy texture. It’s perfect for gifting all the chocolate lovers in your life too, especially in the holiday season!

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Milk chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate bars)
  • Vanilla extract
  • Tony’s Chocolonely Triple Chocolate Lil’ Bits

Who doesn’t love chocolate fudge? It’s creamy, sweet, and the perfect dessert to have after dinner. Although it can be tempting to purchase fudge for convenience, homemade chocolate fudge tastes wonderful and is so easy to make!

While it’s forever a crowd favorite, fudge has a reputation for being fussy and difficult to make. I love to go the quick and easy route when it comes to fudge recipes, using sweetened condensed milk to get that wonderfully creamy texture.

The base of this quick and easy chocolate fudge recipe is made with chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla. Prepped in 5 minutes, this is a seriously simple must-have treat that’s perfect for cookie trays and holiday gifts!

How to make the best Triple Chocolate Fudge:

  • Line an 8×8 baking pan with foil or parchment paper, then set aside.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract.
  • Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in-between, until the chocolate is fully melted, and the mixture resembles and frosting consistency.
  • Let cool for 2 minutes, then fold in 2 bags of triple chocolate lil’ bits. Transfer the fudge mixture into your lined baking pan, spread into an evenly layer, and top with the remaining triple chocolate bits.
  • Transfer to the fridge to set for at least 3 hours to overnight. Slice into small squares and enjoy!

This quick fudge recipe is the easiest way to make chocolate fudge at home! You only need four ingredients; it turns out so smooth and delicious every. single. time.

I’m all about a recipe that’s not only easy but requires no oven or stovetop cooking. And this 5-minute microwave fudge recipe requires minimal effort for delicious results!

You can use any chocolate you like as the base flavor here. The three main ones I use are white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate. This fudge is also perfect for swapping out the triple chocolate bits and adding extras to such as nuts, dried fruits or sprinkles to make it your own!

My top tips:

  • MICROWAVING: I recommend microwaving the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate in 30 second intervals to prevent any burning. This mixture will not become thin and liquidy like normal melted chocolate – you’ll know it’s ready when the chocolate is melted and smooth, but the mixture will still be quite thick, like a frosting.
  • COOLING: It’s important to let the fudge mixture cool off just for a minute or two before adding in the triple chocolate bits. If your fudge mixture is too hot from the microwave, the residual heat will melt the triple chocolate bits.
  • WORKING QUICKLY:  This fudge mixture does start to firm up quickly, so you don’t want to let it sit around for too long before transferring it to your prepared pan, smoothing it into an even layer, and topping with more chocolate bits.
  • CHILLING: I recommend letting the fudge chill for a minimum of 3 hours before cutting into squares, but feel free to leave it in the fridge to set up overnight. You just want the fudge to be firm all the way through before cutting it up!
  • SLICING: Use a large, sharp knife for slicing up the fudge. Small squares are best here because each bite is quite rich. I got 36 pieces by slicing my fudge into 6 rows, then slicing each row into 6 pieces.
  • STORING: Leftover fudge can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for up to 2 weeks! If storing at room temperature, be sure to keep it in a dry, cool area to prevent melting.

This Triple Chocolate Fudge is so easy to make, it takes all of about 5 minutes to mix up! Seriously – SO EASY! You will be enjoying the best chocolate fudge before you know it! Dense, rich, chocolatey, delicious! What are you waiting for?
