This easy ranch snack mix consists of pretzels, Cheez-Its and bite sized crackers that get tossed in a ranch coating and toasted to perfection! It’s a fun alternative to a bag of chips and completely addictive!

Why you’ll love this recipe:

My favorite thing about this snack mix is how adaptable it is! Feel free to switch out the crackers and pretzels for other snacking items like Goldfish, Chex and Bugles! Anything crunchy and salty will do the trick. The ranch coating is tangy, herby, and sure to taste good on nearly anything! I love making this for parties, road trips and homemade gifts!

Ingredients you’ll need for easy ranch snack mix:

  • Mini pretzels
  • Cheez-its
  • Mini oyster crackers or saltines
  • Ranch seasoning packets
  • Vegetable oil- canola oil can be substituted

Ranch snack mix is so easy to make, it doesn’t even feel like a recipe! It’s seriously as easy as dumping everything into a bowl, mixing and baking! With 5 ingredients and 20 minutes to spare, you can have this crunchy snack thrown together in no time!

How to make the best cheesy ranch snack mix:

  • Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F and line 2 baking trays with parchment paper.
  • Mix: In the largest bowl you can find, combine pretzels, Cheez-its, oyster crackers, ranch seasoning and oil. Mix until the seasoning is evenly distributed.
  • Bake: Transfer the snack mix to your prepared baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely before enjoying.

My top tips:

  • Be sure you leave enough room for mixing in your bowl, Ziploc bag and container that you’re assemble the snack mix in! You’ll want to mix the crackers and pretzels well to ensure everything gets evenly coated in seasoning before baking.
  • Let the mix cool completely on your baking sheet before transferring it to a container. You want to be sure the ranch coating cools down and adheres to your pretzels and crackers to get the most flavorful result!
  • Don’t refrigerate your snack mix. It will become soggy! Leave it in an airtight container or Ziploc bag and it’ll stay fresh for 2-3 weeks stored at room temperature.

Hi Linda! There are tons of gluten free pretzels on the market that are delicious! One of my faves is Snyders gluten free mini pretzels.
