- 1/2 cup butter 1 stick
- 5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 5 tbsp milk
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans chopped
Instructions
- Transfer your store-bought brownie bites onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, then set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, melt together the butter, cocoa powder, and milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it comes to a boil.
- Immediately remove from the heat and stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Once the mixture forms a thick and glossy frosting consistency, stir in the chopped pecans.
- While still warm, spoon a tablespoon of the frosting over each brownie bite. Work quickly here, the frosting tends to set up and crystalize fast.
- Allow the frosting to fully harden and set for about 20 minutes before enjoying!
