Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz) box Stovetop stuffing prepared according to box instructions
  • 1 lb mild sausage
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F, then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, and prepare your stuffing according to the box instructions.
  • Combine the uncooked sausage, prepared stuffing mix, shredded cheddar cheese, dried cranberries, eggs, chicken broth, and salt and pepper. Mix by hand or with an electric mixer until well-combined.
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, form the mixture into 1.5-inch balls, placing them on the prepared baking sheet as you go.
  • Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  • Once the sausage stuffing balls are done, remove them from the oven and cool slightly. Serve by themselves or with a cranberry sauce and/or gravy on the side for dipping!
