- 15 frozen Rhodes dinner rolls
- 1/2 cup butter melted (1 stick)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp orange zest from roughly 2 oranges
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice from roughly 1 orange
Place frozen rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 baking dish. Cover them with plastic wrap and let the rolls rise in a warm spot for 4 hours or until doubled in size.
When ready, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, then evenly pour melted butter over the tops of the thawed rolls.
In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and orange zest. Spoon the sugar mixture evenly over the buttery rolls and bake for 20 minutes.
While rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar and orange juice in a small bowl.
Remove the rolls from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before glazing.
