  • 15 frozen Rhodes dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup butter melted (1 stick)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp orange zest from roughly 2 oranges
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice from roughly 1 orange

Instructions

  • Place frozen rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 baking dish. Cover them with plastic wrap and let the rolls rise in a warm spot for 4 hours or until doubled in size.
  • When ready, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, then evenly pour melted butter over the tops of the thawed rolls.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and orange zest. Spoon the sugar mixture evenly over the buttery rolls and bake for 20 minutes.
  • While rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar and orange juice in a small bowl.
  • Remove the rolls from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before glazing.
