- 1 (14 oz) tube pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup mozarella cheese shredded
- 1 (6 oz) bag pepperoni thinly sliced
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and grease a standard 12-cup muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
Unroll the pizza dough (or crescent dough sheet) and loosely stretch it into an 11x18 inch rectangle.
Spread a light layer of pizza sauce onto the dough, then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 1 ½-inch strips width-wise.
Working with one strip of dough at a time, layer 6-7 pepperoni slices on top, overlapping each slice and positioning the pepperoni so the top halves stick out of the dough.
Take one end of the dough and begin rolling it up into a tight roll.
Place the rolled dough into the muffin pan, sprinkle with italian seasoning, and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly. Remove from the pan and serve warm with extra pizza sauce, ranch, or a drizzle of hot honey.
