Pizza Cups

These easy pizza cups are filled with gooey cheese, fresh tomato sauce, and your favorite pizza toppings, making them a perfect party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 16 oz pizza dough store-bought works great!
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
  • 2.25 oz can sliced black olives

Instructions

  • Divide your pizza dough into 12 equal pieces. Lightly coat your 12-cup muffin tin with olive oil, then place one piece of dough inside of each muffin tin cavity. Lightly dimple the dough with your fingertips to cover the bottom of each cavity.
  • Melt butter in the microwave and add garlic and oregano. Stir to combine. Drizzle or brush garlic butter on top of each piece of pizza dough, then top with sauce, cheese, and toppings of your choice (I did pepperoni and black olives).
  • Sprinkle a little more cheese on top of each one and bake at 425 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
  • Once the pizza cups are out of the oven, drizzle/brush with more garlic butter. You may need to pry out of the tin with a knife if the cheese has baked and stuck onto the tin!
