Ingredients

  • 10 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes 2 (8 oz) boxes
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese 1/2 a block
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips 1 (12 oz) bag
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp green sanding sugar
  • 3 drops red food coloring or more if needed

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the chopped Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and softened cream cheese. Using an electric mixer on low speed, mix until a dough forms.
  • Roll the dough into 1 tbsp balls, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat as you go.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips with vegetable oil and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  • Working one by one, coat each dough ball in the melted chocolate. Using a fork, take each ball out of the bowl, shake off any excess chocolate, then return to the lined baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with green sanding sugar.
  • Add red food coloring into the remaining melted white chocolate,  adding a few drops until you reach your desired shade of red, then transfer the chocolate into a ziploc bag, cut off one end, and drizzle the red chocolate over the truffles.
  • Transfer to the fridge or freezer for 15 minutes to set the chocolate drizzle. Once set, carefully break off the excess candy-coating pieces around each truffle before enjoying!
