Funfetti Puppy Chow

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 5 cups rice Chex cereal corn chex works too
  • 1 cup white chocolate melting wafers or chips
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract optional but gives cake batter flavor
  • 1 1/2 cups funfetti cake mix
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  • In a microwave safe bowl, combine white chocolate, coconut oil and almond extract. Microwave in 30 second intervals until smooth, then set aside.
  • Add your Chex cereal into the largest bowl you can find, then pour in the melted white chocolate mixture and toss to combine.
  • Heat treat the funfetti cake mix by adding it to a microwave safe bowl and microwaving for 60-90 seconds.
  • In a Ziploc or large container with a lid, combine the funfetti cake mix, powdered sugar and sprinkles.
  • Add the chocolate coated Chex to the dry ingredients and shake to coat. Transfer to a bowl for serving!
