Cool Whip Candy

Cool Whip Candy is a simple, airy chocolate treat with a soft, whipped center that tastes just like a homemade version of a 3 Musketeers bar.

Ingredients

  • 2 (12 oz) bags milk chocolate chips roughly 4 cups
  • 1 (8 oz) tub Cool Whip thawed
  • 2 (12 oz) bags semi-sweet chocolate chips roughly 4 cups
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Line an 8 or 9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Pour the milk chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl, then microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth. Cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
  • Mix the thawed Cool Whip into the room temperature melted chocolate, folding until all the chocolate and Cool Whip is combined, then pour and evenly spread the mixture into your lined baking pan. Freeze for 1 hour.
  • Remove from the freezer and cut into 36 squares. Place the squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat and return to the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil into a microwave safe bowl and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  • Remove the squares from the freezer and use a fork to coat each square in the melted chocolate, tapping the fork against the side of the bowl to allow the excess chocolate to drip off. Place on parchment paper and return to the freezer to set the chocolate coating.
  • Store in the freezer until ready to serve.
