Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ct) box Rice Krispie Treats
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-pupose flour heat-treated
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips divided
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Unwrap the Rice Krispie Treats and place them on a lined baking sheet, then set aside.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar. Once smooth, mix in the milk and vanilla extract.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, microwave your flour for 60-90 seconds, stirring halfway through. Sprinkle in the heat-treated flour and mix to form a dough, then fold in ½ cup of mini chocolate chips.
  • Roll the cookie dough into 2 tbsp sized balls, then place 1 ball on top of each Rice Krispie Treat.
  • Carefully flatten the cookie dough balls onto the surface of each Rice Krispie Treat, spreading all the way to the edges.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 tsp vegetable oil. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in-between, until melted and smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the Cookie Dough Rice Krispie Treats and immediately sprinkle with remaining mini chocolate chips.
  • Transfer to the fridge or freezer for 15 minutes to set the chocolate drizzle. Once set, carefully break off the excess candy-coating pieces around each treat before enjoying!
