- 1 (11.7 oz) box Cheez-It crackers
- 1/2 cup butter 1 stick
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Pour the Cheez-It crackers into a large bowl and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Stir over medium heat, making sure to stir constantly. Bring the mixture to a boil, then continue boiling for 1 minute.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the baking soda and vanilla extract.
Pour the brown sugar mixture over the crackers and mix to coat completely.
Transfer the crackers onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, tossing halfway through.
Stir the granulated sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle over the warm crackers. Break apart any large clumps, then let cool completely before enjoying.
