Ingredients

  • 1 (11.7 oz) box Cheez-It crackers
  • 1/2 cup butter 1 stick
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Pour the Cheez-It crackers into a large bowl and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Stir over medium heat, making sure to stir constantly. Bring the mixture to a boil, then continue boiling for 1 minute.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the baking soda and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the brown sugar mixture over the crackers and mix to coat completely.
  • Transfer the crackers onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  • Stir the granulated sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle over the warm crackers. Break apart any large clumps, then let cool completely before enjoying.
