- 1 (18 oz) box store-bought brownie mix + ingredients listed on the box
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup softened butter 1 stick
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream divided
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix instructions and line an 8x8 or 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Prepare the brownie batter as directed on the box, pour it into the prepared pan, and bake as instructed. Let the brownies cool completely.
In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, ¼ cup heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract, then mix until the mixture is smooth and spreadable.
Evenly spread the peanut butter frosting over the cooled brownies.
Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Pour the remaining heavy cream over the chocolate chips and microwave for 40 seconds. Let sit for 1 minute, then whisk until smooth.
Pour the ganache over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly. Transfer to the fridge until set.
Slice into squares before serving!
