Ingredients

  • 1 (18 oz) box store-bought brownie mix + ingredients listed on the box
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup softened butter 1 stick
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix instructions and line an 8x8 or 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the brownie batter as directed on the box, pour it into the prepared pan, and bake as instructed. Let the brownies cool completely.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, ¼ cup heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract, then mix until the mixture is smooth and spreadable.
  • Evenly spread the peanut butter frosting over the cooled brownies.
  • Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Pour the remaining heavy cream over the chocolate chips and microwave for 40 seconds. Let sit for 1 minute, then whisk until smooth.
  • Pour the ganache over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly. Transfer to the fridge until set.
  • Slice into squares before serving!
