- 1 (14 oz) package cocktail sausages or lil smokies
- 1 lb bacon cut into thirds
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp BBQ seasoning
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Cut the bacon into thirds, then wrap each smokie with a third of a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
Place the bacon wrapped sausages in a single layer on your prepared pan then evenly sprinkle half of the brown sugar and BBQ seasoning on top.
Turn them over and repeat on the other side, then bake for 40 minutes, turning once halfway through.
Remove them from their baking pan and onto your serving dish to help eliminate excess grease. Serve immediately.
