Servings: 50 jello shots
- 8 navel oranges
- 1 (6 oz) box orange jello mix
- 1 cup prosecco
- 1 cup Aperol
Slice your oranges in half, then remove the fruit from the orange peels. Be careful not to dig down too deep and make a hole in your peel—all your Jello will leak out of the bottom if you do! Save the fruit for a snack or smoothie later!
Add 2 cups of water into a medium pot and bring to a boil. Pour the orange Jello mix into a large mixing bowl, then pour in the boiling water and whisk to dissolve the Jello powder.
Let the mixture cool slightly, then add in the prosecco and Aperol, stir to combine, and pour into a measuring cup or some other container with a spout.
Place your hollowed out orange halves in muffin tins to keep them stable, then pour in the Jello mixture to the top of each orange half.
Place your oranges in the fridge for a few hours until the Jello has set. Slice each half into three wedges before enjoying!
